Often along the road of life, we see our own ideals exchanged for something better. From our frail human vantage point, the path ahead doesn't look perfect. Instead, it seems a bit narrow. Or rough. Or challenging. And yet, we rest assured that this way is good and right, based on God's own Word: "As for God, HIS way IS perfect" (Psalm 18:30a).
When God says, "No," I cannot doubt,
Though I don't understand.
His ways, I know, are not my own;
Nor is His plan my plan.
His thoughts are higher than the sky;
His love is boundless as the sea.
His goodness is forever more;
I'll trust Him, then, implicitly.
